Oh water, how I love thee.

Please, never leave me.

I’d be lost without you.

Anyone else feel this way towards H2O? Like can’t get enough, constantly drinking, and then incessantly peeing?

Well I do.

I drink a shitload of water everyday, and not because it’s recommended or for the expected healthy reasons, but because I’m legitimately thirsty.

I like to think of myself as part camel/part bird – incredible thirst, yet nowhere to store it (cue my frequent bathroom visits).

But enough about me, we’re here for you and your personal water loving journey.

4 DIY Detox Water Recipes – Pin now, make later!

We all know that it’s incredibly important to stay hydrated and consume the recommended amount of daily water… but sometimes that’s just not possible. And I get it, you might not like water, you might be feverishly busy, or you like to consume other beverages.

Like Diet Coke or coffee.

But please, I beg you, make it a goal to start drinking more water.  Whether you use these recipes, another version, try sparkling water, or physically track your intake – just please drink more water!

….. and end my water drinking campaign rant, LOL.

But in all seriousness, we know it’s the “right thing” to do. So with that said, below are four delicious, refreshing, detox water recipes to help start or maintain your current water journey.

For each recipe, follow the below guidelines regarding preparation:

  • Try to buy organic fruits.
  • Clean and rinse the ingredients before preparing.
  • Slice your lemons, limes, cucumber, and grapefruit for ease of use & presentation.
  • Make whatever size your heart desires. I recommend a pitcher’s worth that can be refilled throughout the following day.
  • Prepare the recipe the night before and let it steep to experience the full flavor/health benefits.
