Morning Yoga Sequence + FIRST Video EVER

Rise & Shine Beauties, it’s time to wake up and make some magic.

And don’t get any ideas, I’m referring to yoga magic, not bedroom magic.

Although you’re free to make that magic too (or possibly do both).

Okay, let’s get on with it….

We all know, we’ve been told, it’s been proven – the morning is the most ideal time to get your groove on. And not just because we’re moving the body, creating space, toning, blah, blah – but because we’re simultaneously energizing the senses, releasing endorphins, and setting a positive tone for what’s ahead.

So to help you + me create that morning magic, below is a 30 minute ish yoga sequence to help start your day with intention, movement, and a hella lot of purpose!

Please use this video to inspire your morning routine, to build upon your current practice, or to create your very own morning practice.

And last tidbit before we dive in….

This is the first Journey Junkie yoga video ever, LIKE WHAT!

It took me quite a bit of time to get this rolling – equipment, learning curve + the nerves to do the damn thing. So please – enjoy my first ever yoga vid, please leave feedback below, and let me know what else you want to see.

Oh and Good Morning!

p.s. – I know I just blabbed on and on about how this is great for the morning, and trust me it is, but you’re more than welcome to practice this sequence whenever your heart desires – morning, noon, and night. It’s all yours, have at it!

p.p.s – For a breakdown of an almost identical sequence, with pose-by-pose cues, check out my article over at Yogi Approved – 18 Poses to Start Your Day.

Hi Kim – I’m so happy found me too and that you like my style!

I find that the slower we go, the more we can integrate the posture, the more we can actually feel what’s working and not working. I hope that makes sense LOL! Anyway, thanks for stopping by and showing some love. Happy almost weekend!
