It’s an opportunity to relax, release and restore……with the hopes of feeling refreshed, reconnected, and revived. Doesn’t that dreamy?


But let’s be honest, how often do we completely shut down the outside world (partners, kids, work, to-do lists) and do something solely for ourselves?


My guess is – rarely, possibly almost to the point of extinction.

I don’t say this to lay blame or cultivate guilt, but instead to cultivate and inspire a habit of personal, me-time. Alone time or solely dedicated to you time is crucial to your overall well-being, ability to perform and pursue your passions, and to the health and vitality of your closest relationships.


Essentially, it’s necessary, just like the water and air we breathe, we need it. 


And to be authentically honest, for as much as I preach self-care and love on this platform, I’m also lacking in it. I find myself putting my partner, this platform, and endless to-dos before the most important person –




With that being said, today’s practice is dedicated to us.


It’s an opportunity to gift our body, mind and soul a moment of reprieve, presence, relaxation and restoration. It’s a moment to reconnect with you, the beautiful you that lies within and without. It’s a space to feel your breath, the life force that fuels you. It’s an experience to come back home.

If you loved this practice and felt the shift, I recommend doing it once a week, possibly twice, or hell – maybe every damn day. And if you didn’t love this practice, my recommendation is do it twice a day, LOL.
