The yoga industry has become quite the bustling scene of trendy yoga leggings, designer yoga mats, and handcrafted jewelry.

The amount of yoga brands + their strong social media followings + their yogi ambassadors can be overwhelming at times, especially because the price of the more “trendy” yoga leggings are way up there.

For the first three years of practicing yoga, I only purchased yoga leggings from discount retailers – TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, and Target. I vowed to never be “that girl” who splurges on overly priced yoga clothes.

Well, my vow is long lost because some of those leggings are just too damn cute!

The below yoga leggings are listed ONLY because I dig these specific brands, their ambassadors, received a great discount during a sale, or just desperately needed them!

Teeki

6 Yoga Leggings You Need to Know

Why I love this brand:

Teeki is reinventing the wheel by creating pants from recycled water bottles.

Isn’t that EPIC!

Not only is the brand supporting an eco-friendly footprint, it’s also completely made in the USA.

The pants are a stretchy material and almost feel as though they’re painted on.

I love to my wear my Teeki’s to music festivals, a day of running errands, and of course for yoga!

Helpful tips:

  • The site sells out fairly quickly, check back periodically for updated products.
  • You can return or exchange the pants – sometimes this isn’t allowed with smaller brands.
  • You can find additional sizing and prints from retailers like – Nordstrom.

Glyder Apparel

6 Yoga Leggings You Need to Know

Why I love this brand:

Glyder is a high quality brand that features unique patterns and designs, super stretchy/thick material, and awesome sales!

I was introduced to these stunners via social media, specifically because of their ambassador @yogalovingypsy. I adore this woman’s social media account & what she stands for, so naturally I was curious about the brand she kept touting.

Helpful tips:

  • Both times I’ve ordered from them were absolutely awesome deals – BOGO & 40% off!
  • The company features a Guru Program that offers certified instructors 20%.

One Tribe Apparel

6 Yoga Leggings You Need to Know

Why I love this brand:

This brand is near & dear to my heart as two good friends created the company from scratch.

The pants are harem style, one size fits all, super comfortable, flattering for all shapes & sizes, and come in unique prints & designs.

Helpful tips:

  • Pack them for the beach as a lightweight option.
  • Wear them to bed, for road trips, or any type of traveling.
  • Make sure to wash them on delicate and then hang dry!

Onzie

6 Yoga Leggings You Need to Know

Why I love this brand:

Onzie is one of the original names in the game.

The best part about Onzie – their price point is super reasonable. When compared to some other names on this list or our famous friends “lululemon”, these beauties win almost every time.

You can find their clothes in a lot of yoga studios, online at their site, or other retailers like Anthropologie & Nordstrom.

Alo Yoga

6 Yoga Leggings You Need to Know

Why I love this brand:

Alo Yoga is a unique brand that has literally built their empire from social media ambassadors or so it seems. These guys are smart and know their audience – props to the masterminds behind this brand!

The pants are pricey, like almost $100 per pair pricey, eeeek!

Typically – I wouldn’t indulge in anything that expensive but after months of following the brand and loving their unique designs, my willpower caved.

Helpful tips:

  • The material is definitely high quality, you’ll notice right away how thick and stretchy they are.
  • The 1/2 legging + 1/2 leg warmer look is original and eye-catching.
  • One downside – if you’re short like me, the pants are crazy long. The only reason I can get away with wearing them is the ability to scrunch them around my ankle (see picture above).

You can find these leggings online from their site or at luxury retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue & Bloomingdales.

Fabletics

6 Yoga Leggings You Need to Know

Why I love this brand:

Fabletics is Kate Hudson’s new company that targets active women who want VIP deals.

The concept behind the brand is genius!

Helpful Tips:

  • The first outfit is $25 – everyone should do this! There are 3 piece outfits for only $25, such a steal!
  • You can opt to buy individual pieces (outside of the membership) from Fabletic’s site or shop at online retailers like – Nordstrom Rack.

These yoga legging brands barely scratch the surface of amazing brands out there.

I recommend doing a bit of research – aka buy too many, then weed out the bad ones (LOL).

Until next time – xoxo.
